We’ve found a new store! It’s at 193 Sorauren Ave. in Toronto’s west end.

It should be open early May, just check back here for the exact date. See you there soon!

Hello all, after a year we are finally writing a quick post.
We are open at our new location : 59 Elm Grove Ave.
2 blocks west of Dufferin and just south of Queen St. West in Toronto. If you are driving to visit us, Elm Grove is a one-way street running north from King St.
Hopefully there will be a few minutes to post some updates and answer some questions over the next few weeks. I am excited about the summer, living in hope that it is coming anyday now.

Well it has already been such a busy season, despite this cold May, that I am just getting a second to post this now.
We are at 360 Dufferin St. 1/2 block south of Queen St. West in Toronto.
The building is the old radiator factory for Toronto so quite a nice heritage building. Its uses have changed but we are happy to be located in the courtyard.
Please drop by and say hello if you have a chance. Our hours are 10-7 Monday to Saturday and 10-5 on Sundays.

Well we had possibly a record snowfall yesterday. I have been really tired of the cold and the snow. Hard on our dogs in their old age and all those clothes you have to layer on!! But, in spite of my grumpiness, last night really was a winter wonderland. Lights sparkling on the new-fallen snow just made me smile at the incredible beauty of our universe. Sometimes we have to be shaken out of our norm to just look around and appreciate it and accept all that it offers us. I also hope that this brutal winter will encourage you all to come out to Canada Blooms this week ( March 12-16th) at the Metro Convention Centre or to our wonderful Seedy Saturday at the Scadding Court Community Centre ( March 15th) , on the corner of Dundas and Bathurst. I may be partial having been one of the organizers of this great event for the first few years, but it is the liveliest most fun Seedy Saturday ever. Toronto has so many enthusiastic gardeners that bring their joy and hope to the day. Hope to see you at one or the other.

I hope I can find the time to write every few days but winter is very busy in the life of a seed company. People are always surprised by that. But this is when we pack all of our seeds for the season. Get ready for Seedy Saturdays and garden shows. Plan all the planting of our seedlings which we will have for sale by May and also hopefully decide on what we will grow this year to have seeds for next year.
We have had so much snow this February that it is hard to keep the spirits up. Molly, our 16 year old border collie is valiantly plodding her way through the snow and across the icy sidewalks. But her arthritic legs are also wishing for warmer weather and clean sidewalks. I have posted a picture of some of the harvest from last year. Remember the bounty and the warmth. May your heart and your thoughts be joyful.
Please if you get a chance, drop by Canada Blooms next week in Toronto at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. We will be at booth #236. They have reduced the entry fee this year for the evenings to $10. See you soon either there or at Seedy Saturday in Toronto. March 15th at Scadding Court Community Centre, Bathurst and Dundas St.
